Who we are
DIMAH is a UK network of healthcare educators from medicine and allied healthcare professions with a passion for Equity Diversity and Inclusion (ED&I). We meet online up to four times a year to support one another, discuss shared challenges and share best practice in diversity interprofessional education and research.
Since its establishment in 2010, DIMAH has provided leadership and guidance on designing a core curriculum for diversity education (AMEE Guide No 103 on Teaching diversity to medical undergraduates: curriculum development, delivery and assessment). While higher education institutions have made great strides in diversifying their curriculum, the evolving and dynamic nature of diversity and curricula means that DIMAH is still as relevant today as ever.
